Educational Resources

Here, you will find information –for children and adults—about 911 and Emergency Communications.  You will find links to coloring and activity books available for download.  You will also find industry-standard documents that explain how 911 works, the appropriate information to provide during our interviews, and what to expect from the Call-Taker (e.g. Pre-Arrival Instructions, etc.) when you call.

If you are interested in hosting a Emergency Communications representative at your school, business, organization, church group, civic group, etc., please contact the Public Outreach Coordinator Stephanie Anglemyer at for scheduling.  Our outreach program can be tailored to any education level (Pre-K through adult), and we can focus on either the initial incident entry, the technical aspects of how 911 works, or both.

If you think of ways we can improve this site, please let us know.
