Credentialing FAQ

What is the CRMCS?

  • The Comprehensive Resource Management and Credentialing System (CRMCS) is a web based statewide system provided by the State of Kansas for credentialing and management of personnel and resources.  This system is used by many government agencies within Cowley County to credential their employees.

What is the purpose of credentialing personnel through the CRMCS?

  • Provides a specialized card which can be used for identification and for accountability on an incident scene
  • Cards are a recognized statewide standard
  • Provides a way to confirm that an individual holds certain qualifications
  • Can contain essential health information

Who uses the system?

  • Designated points of contact within an eligible agency wishing to credential their staff
  • Designed so that each participating agency can manage their own data

How do I determine whether my agency is eligible, and how do I get access to the system?
