The Cowley County Community Developmental Disability Organization Department (Cowley County CDDO Department) was created by county resolution number 2010-06 . The Cowley County CDDO Department operates in accordance with the Developmental Disabilities Reform Act (K.S.A. 39-1801 et seq) and Article 64 of the Kansas Administrative Regulations.
The Cowley County CDDO Department is charged with the mission of providing efficient delivery of quality services to the developmentally disabled residents of Cowley County by performing the functions and responsibilities of a Community Developmental Disability Organization (CDDO) as set forth by the State Statutes and Kansas Administrative Regulations.
The Cowley County CDDO Department serves as the single point of entry for anyone needing or inquiring about MR/DD services in Cowley County.
CDDO Advisory Board
To ensure efficient delivery of quality services to the developmentally disabled residents of Cowley County, a Cowley County CDDO Department Advisory Board composed of seven members has been created. The CDDO Advisory Board actively participates in the operations of the Cowley County CDDO Department in an advisory capacity and makes formal recommendations anually to the Board of Commissioners of Cowley County, Kansas, concerning the functions and responsibilities of the Cowley County CDDO Department.

Affiliate Information
Anyone providing services to a community's individuals must "affiliate" with the CDDO in the area. Billing agents, individuals providing Supportive Home Care, agencies providing Day and Residential Supports and/or Case Management, as well as those providing Assistive Services must sign an Affiliate Agreement annually. If you need more information or have any questions, please give our office a call.
