Hello HCBS Stakeholders.  Please join us for this month’s HCBS Settings Final Rule Stakeholder Call, October 18th 2017 at noon and 5:30pm.  Call in line: (866) 620-7326 Code: 582 673 67 91.

This month’s topic – Systemic Assessment vs. Systemic Remediation.  This is an opportunity to stay updated on the Stat’s planning for HCBS Settings Final Rule implementation.  As a reminder, the Statewide Transition Plan (STP) draft is the stat’s plan for evaluating current compliance with the Settings Rule, utilizing the results of evaluation, and developing plans for full compliance by March 17, 2022.  In addition to the planned topic, any new information and updates are also shared during the monthly call.  As with every call, the main purpose is to hear from stakeholders and shape an engagement process that meets your needs.  You can view the STP here:  http://www.kdads.ks.gov/commissions/home-community-based-services-(hcbs)/hcbs-waivers.  Any questions or call topic suggestions can be emailed to medicaid@wichita.edu

  • There is a limited capacity (150 lines) for each call, if you aren’t able to get on the 12:00 call, please join the 5:30 call where the same information will be shared.  Questions and answers from each call will be posted on the HCBS Settings Final Rule page of the KDADS website, found here:  https://www.kdads.ks.gov/commissions/home-community-based-services-(hcbs)/hcbs-waivers (right click and open)
